Cut From the Same Cloth

Cut From the Same Cloth

Cut From the Same Cloth

Luxury has long been defined by the clothes we wear, the impeccable tailoring, the sumptuous fabrics, the artistry found in every stitch. But what happens when those same extraordinary materials leave the runway and enter the spaces where we truly live?

This question inspired DandyLion and Kristen Farrell & Co to create a capsule collection that blurs the lines between fashion and interiors, transforming some of the world's most coveted textiles into heirloom-quality pieces for the home.

Crafted from exceptional surplus fabrics sourced through Nona Source, the LVMH-backed platform dedicated to giving new life to exceptional surplus materials, these are far from ordinary textiles. These are the same runway-quality fabrics once intended for garments by iconic houses including, Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Loro Piana.  Now, for the first time, they are thoughtfully reimagined as bedding, pillows, and refined home essentials.

Where Great Collaborations Begin

Our story behind this collection is as thoughtful as the pieces themselves.

Kristen Farrell and I first met at a Holiday House event, where a chance introduction quickly revealed our shared appreciation for timeless design and a belief that true luxury should be both enduring and intentional. It didn't take long to realize we were cut from the same cloth, two women driven to build businesses that create lasting value, beauty and purpose into the world.

Together, we created a collection that extends the language of fashion into the home, where comfort is elevated through rich materiality, craftsmanship, and quiet sophistication. Every piece reflects our shared commitment to thoughtful design that transcends trends and is meant to be lived with for years to come.

Couture, Recontextualized

There is something deeply compelling about bringing fabrics once destined for impeccably tailored garments into the most intimate rooms of a home.

The familiar softness of cashmere, the tailored structure of fine wool, the understated elegance of linen, materials traditionally reserved for the world's most celebrated wardrobes take on an entirely new expression when transformed into objects designed for everyday rituals.

The collection asks us to reconsider luxury not as something reserved for special occasions, but as something woven into daily life.

A New Chapter in Responsible Luxury

The collection also reflects an evolving definition of luxury.

By working exclusively with traceable surplus fabrics, Kristen and I embrace a design philosophy rooted in preservation rather than excess. Every textile carries its own history, giving exceptional materials a second life while reducing waste and celebrating their inherent rarity.

This approach feels especially relevant today, as conscious sourcing and craftsmanship are becoming integral to modern luxury. Exceptional materials are more accessible than ever if you know where to look.

Meaningful change, however, requires more than access. It demands fresh thinking, innovation, and a shared commitment across every part of the industry. Together, we have the opportunity to redefine what luxury can be and create results that truly matter.
